Marc Ladouceur has taken over the family cattle ranch from his father, but as the summer draws to a close, things are getting rough for Canadian ranchers. Onerous decisions by the Food Inspection Agency, a US embargo on Canadian beef - everything is playing against them. The ranchers mobilize, but the Ladouceur farm is sinking deeper into debt and the situation is taking its toll on Marc and Julianne's marriage. Is there any way out?

Writer/Director Jocelyn Forgues will be attending PEI Int'l Film Festival

Farmers on strike?
Honestly… all sorts of trades, professions, unions go on strike. What would happen if all our Canadian farmers went on strike… for a day, two days, a week??? If they, in turn, created their own embargo? Would we then be a bit more appreciative for their hard work?
