A lone dancer hears a little voice that propels him to reach further; challenging his skills and patience. A modern twist on an old favourite... "Banana Who?" is an experimental dance film featuring Matthew Waldie & Matthew Parkin, making it's North American Premiere at the PEI Film Festival.

How To Prepare For A Date

Preparing for a date takes a lot of effort - preparing the food, the Jacuzzi and preparing yourself. It's hard to accomplish all that at the same time. Especially if you keep calling your date to make sure she will actually show up. Then everything might go wrong. Co-directors Josefin Sundberg and Hans Montelius will be in attendance at the festival.

The PEI/iff's mission is to give filmmakers an opportunity to showcase their films in the magical surroundings of this little island getaway, and to promote and showcase the beauty and benefits of filming and bringing their next project to the serene landscape of Prince Edward Island. All while opening the filmmakers to a new audience and using their experiences and promotion to support and promote their film's success on their road to distribution.

The PEI/iff also strives to offer indigenous productions and filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their own films to the local community and alongside other filmmakers from around the globe.

Welcome to the Prince Edward Island International Film Festival, located in the heart of the Eastern Canadian Maritime Provinces: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. (September 20-21, 2008)

Join us for a truly international film festival showcasing the best in independent films from around the world, and take in a breathtaking journey across an island of fairytale views. Prince Edward Island is home to the "Anne of Green Gables" series, not to mention, it's the epicenter of where Canada became a country over 140 years ago.Peruse our site, and make sure to visit the "PEI PLAY" office online for photo galleries and schedules of all activities that take place on this island paradise year round.

Filmmakers join us, and showcase your film to a new audience. Film Lovers, sit back and relax, and enjoy the best the film festival circuit has to offer as you take part in the journey of the greatest in up and coming filmmakers and veteran filmmakers as they take their projects worldwide.
